Halloween is getting a new gathering place this year at the Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds, and the plan is simple: bring riders, non-riders, families, friends, food lovers, and Halloween fans together for one fun fall evening.

On October 17 from 4 to 9 p.m., the Dover Rovers will host its first annual Halloween Festival at the Piscataquis Valley fairgrounds, a new event built around community, seasonal fun, and a little spooky excitement. Riders can stop in before they head out to the haunted trail, and non-riders can come enjoy the festival atmosphere on its own.

Expect food and drink vendors, information booths, merchandise booths, friendly faces, and plenty of Halloween energy. Whether the haunted trail is the main event of the night or the festival itself is the reason for coming, this evening is meant to give everyone something to enjoy.
